Teacher Profile – Jen Seko

Expertise: Jen grew up as a tomboy in her younger years, playing games and sports that were more physical in nature. She then developed a liking for hip- hop dance during middle school and through high school, performing in amateur shows when there was a chance. Since then, Jen has discovered pole dancing after her daughter was born, and she has been taking classes for the past 3 years. She enjoys this type of fitness because it not only helps her stay in shape, but it also brings out her femininity and sexiness – even as a mom.
Dance Style: Sensual, Calm, and Agile
Professional Background: Jen is certified in Medical Assisting and after working in the health field for 2 years, Jen went on to obtain her B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship. She is interested in anything related to self-development and motivation, reading books by Stephen R. Covey, Anthony Robbins, and Zig Ziglar, to name a few. She is has a very positive personality so she brings with her a teaching style that is patient, compassionate, and uplifting. Along with pole dancing, she also enjoys playing tennis, baseball, running, and stand-up paddle-boarding.
Rethink Fitness: As a mom of two kids, Jen understands the importance of staying active and maintaining your own health. When she started pole dancing classes, she was shy and reserved, but has developed a renewed confidence with her freestyle dance as she improved her skills and became stronger. Her goal as an instructor is to help students recognize their beauty and appreciate their uniqueness, while challenging each student to master each move and just have fun with it at the same time.
