Teacher Profile – Kim Pasamonte

Expertise: Being physically active in sports since age 4, Kim began her first job at 16 as an assistant martial arts instructor. With her background in Fitness and Health Promotion, Kim has been teaching group fitness for over 10 years and has also worked as a personal trainer.
Dance Style: Light, Flowing, Fierce
Professional Background: Kim completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Kinesiology. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She has taught all ages from children to seniors in group fitness and private training. With her background of human body mechanics, Kim is able to use that knowledge to break down and understand the physical demands of pole dancing.
Rethink Fitness: “Having a perfect body will not make you happy if you are not happy with yourself. Pole dancing brought me confidence I didn’t have in myself. I still don’t have a perfect body, but I know how to use it.”
